The day I lost you I thought I was closer than ever. I felt the autumn dew. I thought I saw you sleeping next to me.

I thought I felt the autumn dew but it was just a single tear. I knew that it was all gonna be grey and blue for years. I knew it had to be you. But I was wrong, as usual. You changed your hair and name and I flew to see if could catch one of the last boats. Again.

Tried to escape to spring but it was too late. Winter wouldn't come, I was stuck in the autumn. Stuck in the day I lost you.

I knew I was no good. It had to be that way forever and ever. It'd be grey and it'd be blue.

I thought I found somebody new in you. I finally knew I was born to lose, yes I was. Just to win you.
